The freebies from apple work just great for me. :)

My apple purchase is currently somewhere between memphis and dorval.

These things are neat though! It's like putting in earplugs (like at work, say...) with music coming out of 'em. I walked around outside in the wind, and you don't get the drown out from wind noise at all. Problem is, it's easy to get ambushed at work. You really block out the rest of the world with these babies...

Another of my eBay close calls with stupidity was a set of Bose Quiet comfort IIs... I bet they're neat too, but part of the idea in buying the Shures was that they don't make me look like a Chemical Brother walking down the street. (Is that what the kids are listening to these days?)

Sony provided headphones almost identical to th eones you purchased for free with my new w810i phone. They too block out outside noise, but i can't stand them. Makes my ears feel full of pressure etc.

I haven't had the time to play with all the fit kits yet, but they came with a foamy set of fittings. I bet they would eliminate the pressure problem. We'll see. I like them so far!

Cool, the sony ones have some sort of soft rubery type things in place of foam.
