I have to hand it to Deschutes. They make a damn good IPA. First time I've had an opportunity to try their Inversion. Two thumbs up.
Not quite as good as Titan, though. :D

Yeah - didn't notice the 6.8% until I'd had two. Thought I was just turning into a lightweight. :D

7.7? Pffffft. Child's play. Hercules IPA is 9.1%. ;)

Deschutes can top the 9.1% too - they have a few beers they will only serve as half pints because they are too strong. I've tried the Stone...it's ok.

I've heard it called distilled hop juice. I'll have to try it early at the Dogfish booth next weekend. :sneaky:

yeah, i can't imagine it's a pleasant thing to drink; seems like an exercise in extremism, just to prove a point.

It sucks ass. N8 level ass.
Which is a shame, because the 60 is out of this world, and the 90 is really good.
Best double IPA I've had to date was the Hoptown DUIPA. Mmmm...

Oh I can't resist a good Double IPA thread...My fav's to date (but admit I have a HUGE list of wants)
- DFH 90 minute
- Stoudt's Double IPA (10% ABV)
- Captain Lawrence (local brewery) Captain's Reserve Imperial IPA (voted best in NY), this stuff is unbelievable.
