hank was cool back in the 80's, when he was very accessible & easily approachable. his spoken word shows could be found every other month in the d.c. area. not sure what to make of this mysogynistic rant, however. i have Bang!, Eye Scream, & Black Coffee Blues, and this rant seems like nothing more than a "best of" compilation.

how many times have you heard him say or read him write "thousand yard stare" (it even inspired a band's name), or pick on pro-wrestling & nascar, or awkwardly weave the word obsequious into an anti-cop tirade?

i really don't mind him so much - in fact i like his delivery, but his lumpenproletariat followers sure are annoying. probably how some here feel about jesus & jeezoids.
