What should I drink (red red wine)?

The little lady is out with her girls, so help me choose.

I ran out of beer, not in the mood for the hard stuff, so it's red wine tonight. Looking through her work wines where she has at least three bottles of a particular wine, here's four:

-- Red Truck's 04 cab.sauv.
-- Luna's 01 Merlot (she has EIGHT of these?!?!)
-- Foppiano's 03 Petite Sirah
-- Guenoc's 01 Petite Sirah

Which should I drink?

I'd say go for the Red Truck. Do you have any Parmesano Reggiano around? That'll go killer with the red.

Maybe that's why she has about 20 bottles of different Luna product in the house? I don't know.

I went with the Foppiano... oh my dog... yummy! Good earthy stuff, peppery, bit smoky, chocolate.

My woman said the Guenoc is awesome but a bit too "big" to drink without food.

Luna IS crap...unless you like crap, then it is good...i guess...

Gonna have to look out for the Foppiano, it sounds good. We had their merlot/sangiovese a while back & we both liked it a lot.
