the kegerator is now officially up and running. it was christened last night, and the pressure was tweaked for optimum head pour. it will be interesting to see how long a 50L keg will last. its a D system coupler so it's just slightly smaller than a true 1/2 keg by 25 beers ~ 1 case

well i dont think we have the proper body armor to be mad maxin' it for real, and as much as i'd LOVE to be able to shoot out here, i'm just too close to neighbors.

i have strung up some targets in the trees for plinkin' on the 1000fps air rifle i have.

once the course is cut i have every intention of making it dual use for those days when i just don't feel like riding, or want to take a breakl. i'm going to set up combat style targets at different heights and distances off the trail (the types of targets will vary too).

concerning the grubbage...if'n you get smart, half nekkid, edumacated girlies to show up, i'll supply the entire f'in cow!

hope y'all like yuengling because thats what is in the kegerator right now, but of course thats not to say that other smaller, varities of kegs couldn't be arranged

i will have at a minimum 2 dump trucks worth of fill dirt delivered for dj building

a ramp up to skinny to teeter down ...back into the jump line <--this IS permamanent (sp?...) so it will be done right

obviously given the above, the intent is to also build a jump line consisting of tables that follows the 'fall line' of my back yard, so each jump will be slightly down slope of the previous...if i can pull it off, ~ 4 of these are going to feed into a wall ride to redirect back up slope for about 3-4 more tables (if you were looking from a 'plan view' it will resemble a bastardized horseshoe)

pool table was delivered is now in place, got a little scuffed coming through the door, but it can be fixed. i wish i'd had video of the 7 dudes trying to manhandle it sideways through the door...christ that thing was heavy then!

keg number one is almost dead, so i'll be sure to have a nice new fresh one before next weekend.

Man, I really wanted to make it down but had a bit too much fun at the MD Microbrew Festival. Clipper City's Small Craft Warning and Loose Cannon povided a hoppy-malty 1-2 punch of 7.5%ABV destruction that had me snoring between bouts of unintelligible gibberish on the couch from 8:30pm Saturday night until 1:30am Sunday morning...when I finally gave up hope and dragged my a$$ to bed. I was next to useless all day Sunday, watching TV, playing soccer with my kids and ignoring the lawn.

What was the weather like down there? We had rain off and on all day Saturday and when I turned in on Sunday, it was sprinkling still. Between that and my epic inebriation, definitely not the right set of conditions for me to set off on a long drive under.

This w/e (7th/8th), I have Saturday all free, next w/e (14th/15th), I have Sunday free after 11:00am and the following w/e (21st/22nd), I plan on camping somewhere I can fish, ride & raise a little hell. This scheduling stuff sucks, but is a necessary side effect of continued marriage and gainful employment. :disgust1:

the following weekend you can ride and raise hell here, and if you insist on camping...well you can use my back yard, however i suspet you'd find the couch more comfortable. i don't know about how good the fishing is, but gray's creek/james rives is literally 0.5 miles from my house, i'll ask around about the fishing. i've got two sea kayaks that i've heard people fish out of, although i wouldn't know as i'm not a fisherman, i simply just don't have the patience, lemme know what ya think.
