My new Hoops arrived last night!

Got home from work to find a box from George at www.bike29.com waiting for me! Gotta love it when you come home to a box full of bike parts!

Inside were some really nice wheels, a headset FSA Orbit XL ii, and a front derailleur (LX) for the EMD!

The wheels look sweet and I think will offer amazing bang for the buck.
XT disc hubs (silver) laced to WTB Dual Duty 29er Rims with DT Competition spokes.

True, especially w/ XT hubs. But, they'll stand up to some nasty ****, the Dual Duty rims are pretty nice. Besides, I'm sure teh options were limited in 29".

Tons of options in 29" wheels these days. My limitations were budgetary only. I felt these offered tremendous bang for the buck considering my limited funds. They are stronger, and wider than my old wheels so I think they'll offer a more solid ride on the trail - a tad heavier yes, but I think they'll be more durable and give a better feel to the bike.
