Thanks to Uncle Sam this year, I'm getting a small return for all of my hard work during the summer and school year. It's nothing big, but I'm hooking myself up with some lights and maybe a new handlebar. Then again, I can't remember the last time I bought cables and housing...

Here are the questions:

1)Are you getting a tax return? No need to include the $$$ and make the rest of feel bad;)

2)Are you doing the right thing and putting it in a Roth IRA so that when you retire, you will have a nice fat check along with your quarterly dividends from your well-diversified portfolio?

I mean, what kind of bike stuff are you getting?

I'll most likely pick up some lights, but I might put it toward a new computer or HDTV.

Yeah, we're getting one. It's going into our savings account, which will eventually be used to purchase a house (hopefully in a few months).

I am getting a refund, and I will be using it as a Down Payment on a family transportation module.

I should be getting one, although things are unclear since they will be postmarked today (slipped the envelope in the mailbox after the last pickup :( )... what to get, food maybe? Doing unpaid research while living in fancy school digs in the summer will not be profitable, to say the least, so I must save.

Getting a little back....er, I hope so. I didn't file last year,...but I think I was getting money back for that year too so I don't think it'll be a problem.

I'm putting it toward a new G4 Titanium.

Mmmm, good choice. :D Is that really how it works with taxes, tho? (should I not be worried about sending mine in a day late because the government owes me?)

You don't have to file unless you owe money.

I've finally got my taxes worked out. I didn't get any back but I only have to pay $7.94. I payed mine throughout the year.

I got a very nice tax return. I already got it about a month ago and spent it all on my DH bike.

I think I'm going to use my $$$ on a trip to Iceland. I've always wanted to go. I would love a 36" TV, or a notebook computer, but I figure that any experiance I have over there will stick with me longer than those.
I'll just keep my 27" and desktop for now...
AC bike in Iceland, hopefully in August.

With my money I either outfit my car with an Infinty Speaker system, or build up an XC hardtail.... It will probably wind up being the bike
