Seeing those Pits pictures brings back some fond memories...here's a good idea for a thread....

Anyone remeber:

-Purple Anodized parts?
-Truning the volume up during Dangerous Dan's segment in Cranked I?
-Bill Bower's Speed Shop at the base of Whitetail??
-Trail 6 @ Whitetail??
-Orange/Green Stinkys with massive 5 inches of travel?
-Palmer
-The Girvin suspension line??
-Specailized's, Cannondale's , Mongoose's, Everybody's DownHill
Race Teams??

keep it going....

First Gen Panaracer Smoke / Dart tires (That was a big 2.1)

Not wanting to put front suspension on our hardtails, because it would 'rob' us of needed energy (suspension bob) ie... Manitou II/III/IV, Mags, Marzocchi XCs and then the DH3.

Original XTR ~1992 (that stuff was pretty)

Spin carbon wheels. The tri-spoke ones. damn if it didn't look cool on the back of my Specialized, but damn again if it didn't deaden the ride and kill pedal power.
