avid adapter question

can i mount a front 160mm avid bb7 on a shimano 160mm adapter - just seeing if anyone has tried this an had it work for them. and i dont have the caliper so i cant test it.

should be fine, though the avid adaptors are possibly better so I hear. since both calipers are for 160mm on post mounts, they should need the same size adaptor to go to the A standard.
