Riding in Corsica?? EuroMonkey Tips?

I am taking the same France trip as the infamous Heidi, but am thinking of taking off to Corsica for a week to ride and explore. Anyone know the trails in Corsica? The guide books mention that the mtbing is very steep and technical, but good. Would love some inside information from those that have biked there....
