Avalanche DHS Problem

I have an Avalanche DHS 2.25, So far its been amazing.. But I wasnt paying attention while adjusting the compression on the remote resivoir the other day and managed to completly unscrew it... yea you guessed it, it sprayed oil all over the place, along with my nitrogen charge. I emailed Avalanche to see how much oil and what wt. I need to run and what PSI of nitrogen I should be running in the resivoir but so far after 3 days no reply. Also, I did not lose the little spring that sits in the compression needle but I fear that I have lost a small peice that makes the "click" when you turn the compression screw. So I thought I would ask here because from what ive heard, the Avy is pretty popular with people on these boards. I would send my shock into Avalanche but im on Vancouver Island B.C. and I need my shock for August 19th (VPS fest). Im planning on sending it in after that weekend though. I do have a full tank of nitrogen at my shop and there is an MX shop close by that has a ton of different shock oils.

I would just bring it to the moto shop and ask them to rebuild it.

call craig to get the info on how yr shock was setup, and have a local MX shop re-charge it

dude thats exactly what i did to my vanilla rc haha it sucks doesnt it...
definitley a lesson learned the hard way on my part.
i never did anything about it and just ended up buying a romic 9.5x3.0... bigger, better, sluggish-ish though but not a problem...

Emailed Craig, Turns out I lost a 1/8" chrome ball that makes the "click" when you turn the adjuster, im sure I have a ball bearing or something to replace it with. Im going to service it myself, I have a full tank of nitrogen here from when I used to race gokarts.. Craig says 250PSI is what is needed... All I need to know now is what oil to use.

Got another email, He says to use "Showa shock fluid" and fill it completly with no air..

I googled showa shock fluid and it didnt come up with any numbers. Ive heard of using Golden Spectro... but again.. No #'s regarding wt. and amount.

i know this won't help you get your shock any quicker, but calling is always the better route. A) you can get an immediate answer. B) people that run these smaller companies (like craig, the guys at BMW, hadley, others) like to talk to the people using their products. Everyone wins.
