Ok people, need opinions. Im trying to choose between a pair of '04 888rc 'works', or a Stratos s-8 '01 i believe, only ridden a couple of times, just stored since.
I mainly freeride bit im thinking of getting into some downhill too so im not sure which fork would better suit me.
My bike is an '04 Trek Diesel with 8" on the rear, i believe both of these forks have 8" also.
Thanks in advance.

Get the 888. I've owned both. The Stratos is out of date. Its not a bad fork, just really tall and really heavy.

I kinda figured it was outdated but its a sweet looking fork for its age.
Thx for your opinion.

888 for sure, lighter newer, still in production and it is a Marzocchi.

I would get the flat crowns as well. I got mine from Risse for my 04 888. Really made a big difference.
