Saw this on a local shop blog.

Here's the scoop. Exile 29'er with sexy fork, rigid, steel, disc... Not bad. I assume a $1k pricetag
but I'll let you know as soon as I get the pricing. 631 steel, which is good riding stuff.
2 piece crank, wide rise bars, WTB saddle, Maxxis tires and even clipless...

Your info is spot on BG - one other item per Tigg and the guys at Elevate - the Exile will have convertible dropouts for geared or SS use. :thumb:

They will also have an Aluminum 29er - I think spec'd with a RS Tora fork up front.

Well not everyone, but they are gaining popularity. However, there will be a glut in the market for rigid ss hardtails in 2007.

I still think the GF rig is a steal...SS, Reba, disc...usually can be had around $900 or so.
