Ok, I had a joke to go with the title, so I'm not gonna offend anyone.

Anyway, on my BMX wehre I am running Koolstop brakes and a sun rhynolite XL rim I get this horrible screech when I brake. Is there anything I can do to fix this. I love the brakes as they can make me stop on a dime, or a penny, but they are jus so noisey.

I do lots of urban exploring on my bike, and I prefer not to be seen, but once I hit the breaks everyone knows where I am.

Any suggestions ?

It's probably not your tires screeching, it's probably your brake pads against your rims.

I'd do three things: clean your rims well, take a little sandpaper to your brake pads, and toe in the brake pads a little bit.

toe in the brake pads a little bit.

Credit card under the rear edge of the pad is a good guage.
