Today's ride (tons o pics)

My son has been asking me to take him to the Guanica trails, had always turned him down because I was affraid of him getting injured by the heat and difficulty of the trail.

The weather has been misserable on the north side of the island so if we wanted to ride on dry trails the south west was the only option. I gave my ridding buddy Jay a call and asked him if he wanted to tag along for a ride on the Las Pardas and La Jungla trails in Guanica, he agreed to come (as always) and off we went.

To my surprise Pepe rode very well and handled the technical stuff like a seasoned veteran.

He earned our respect and it's fun to see your kid develop his skills, can't wait for the next one.

Nice. Wish I had a bike that nice when I was a little grom. You should bend a brake lever, loosen some spokes and maybe sabotage a bearing or two to let him get the full experience.
