I have a manitou minute :2 air sprung 100mm fork and when I iar up the spv valve there is no dampening in the fork at all. When I let every bit of the air out of the spv valve ( they say you are suposed to run no less than 30 psi in the spv valve) then I have dampening but It wont adjust with the adjuster,it is just full on slow.Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Hmm........what year is it?

I know mine (minute 1) had a busted rebound assembly out of the box. Called Manitou and they took care of it. Fork works fine now!

If you pump the SPV up, and turn that dial in all the way it should be pretty stiff. I had to get mine stiffer (DJ/4X stuff) so I swapped in a x-firm spring. Rebound doesn't have that great of an adjustment, it is what it is.

its a 2004.This si a brand new rebound cart. The first the plasit on the bottom that the blue knob screws into busted so they sent me a new rebound assybaly and i swapped them out and the new one is doing what I described. It's not that there is not much adjustment the thing just flies out and clanks real loud.No rebound dampening at all.

hi,
it sounds like your spv valve is full of oil. u need a new one. just go to your local dealer and let them fix it, it should be fine afterwards. its not a big deal.

its not that. you have to little oil in the spv cartridge. now depending on what the weight of the stock oil is. this is the time to change the weight if you dont like it now. if you are going to change it your self, then get ready for oil. either it leaked oil or you dont have oil in the spv.
