Ok girls! The first weekend in August... 4, 5, and 6th there is a MTB Festival and Race At the Wisp resort in mchenery maryland!!!
4 th – 6 th Downhill & Freeride MTB Festival
The 3 rd event in the Wisp Downhill Mountainbike Series features plenty of special bike clinics throughout the weekend! Check out the schedule below:
Friday, August 4
2 pm: Intro to Freeride Clinic 101
4 pm: Dual Mountain X Clinic
7 pm: Bike Rodeo
Saturday, August 5
10 am: Downhill / Freeride Clinic for Women
11 am: Intro to Freeride Clinic 102
2 pm: Taking Care of Your Downhill Bike Clinic
3 pm: Drop Park / Teeter Clinic
Sunday, August 6
10 am: Dual Mountain X Clinic for Women
11 am: Intro to Freeride Clinic 103
$75 registration fees get you a swag bag, 3 day lift/trail/park pass and admission to all clinics. Downhill/Freeride Rental Bikes available for an additional fee. Limited availability, please call for reservations.
August 5 – 6
Wisp Downhill Mountain Bike Series # 3
The 3 rd event in the Wisp Downhill Mountain Bike Series. Watch riders take on the new Wisp Mountain Course during the Mountain X event before Sunday’s Downhill Competition.

10:00 am Lift opens for DH Practice
12:00 pm Registration Closes for Mountain X
12:45 pm Dual Riders Meeting

5:00 pm DH Course/Lift Closed for the Day

10:00 am Lift Opens for DH Practice
12:45 pm Mandatory Rider Meeting @ DH Start
1:00 pm DH Race - Awards to Follow
Event fee $35 for Downhill, $25 Mountain X, $50 both events. Event fees include a Fri – Sunday Trail, Lift & Park Pass.

Camping is avaible at Deep Creek Lake and Swallow Falls...All about 10 minutes away from the resort!
I believe I am camping at swallow falls!!!
