Shouldn't the people receiving federal money be telling the truth about such matters as the nonexistent link between abortion and breast cancer? Does anyone think they should be allowed to lie?
(Please, let's not get into whether abortion should be lawful or not.)

The people receiving the federal money are lying BECAUSE they're receiving the federal money.....that's WHY they're receiving the money.....If they continue to dissuade abortion, then good on them from the current administrations' P.O.V.
Obviously, the agenda pushed by the current admin. is filtering down to the groups that ultimately run (even affiliated with)these "pregnancy resource centers"....It's really very sad...

Yeah, it's bad enough that the gov. is funding abstinence only education, which is religiously driven and shown not to be effective, but it's like a two-fer that they get people willing to lie about abortion in the process.

Wait a second, the government politicize health and science matters to appease their constituency?!?
The hell you say!
_____
PS. - But why did they put "pregnancy resource centers" in quotes? I imagine the writer gesturing that and winking conspiratorily at the same time when he wrote this.
PSS. - Is "conspiratorily" even a word...
PSSS. - My god waking up still buzzed on a workday sucks...

BONUS!!! I really don't understand these types of thinking sometimes....Why don't we get Dr. Dino's take on this issue before he's in some federal prison....I'm sure it would be enlightening...

It goes beyond mere politicizing science. It's is outright abuse of science.

Any mention of Dr. Dino in prison is music to my ears, although sometimes I wonder if he wouldn't be better off in a mental institution.

True....he does deserve, for the next 20 to life, to be sitting next to some one crocheting something that isn't there....

Actually, the push for faith-based initiatives is Bush's fault. The abuse of science, however, is a far wider problem.

It's not Bush's fault that you can't read, however.

You know based on your contributions in another thread I'd upgraded you from moron to mere lunkhead. Sadly in this thread you've reverted back to normal programming. Moron.
