Just by the name (and without clicking the link) I'm guessing the Balearic Islands off of Spain.

I think it's in the group of Canary islands outside the coast of Marocco. It's a popular place to go to during winter months in Europe.

i think the balearics are in the med sea...(majorca, ibiza, minorca); the canaries are in the atlantic, off morocco as noted below.
