you really need to cut that seat tube! hows that ride with that shock?

The post is just right, the shock and post move downwards together so it can be lowered even further. Nice to be able to use the post for epic rides as well.

So far the shock feels great. Just found my ideal pressure, so I´ve got some riding to do before I can give a good answer.

As much as you payed for that bike, I hope you're gonna enjoy riding it. If I payed that much for a bike, I'd probably sleep with it.

That fork matches the frame well. How's she ride?

I just noticed something..........the front brake lever, on the Brooklyn, is on the right. Does your friend ride mx too?

I love the Ransom but I haven't had much time to check it out, are there different versions? The reason I ask is I thought the ransom was a full carbon frame, unless that is carbon with paint over it. ??????????

They have a few models, including a few carbon ones. The 40 and the 30 are the aluminum versions and the 20,10 and limited are carbon. The 30 has the same component spec as the 20, but with a nicer fork (talas) while the 20 has the carbon frame and marzochi.

Yes, it comes in different versions. The full carbon version is the top of the line version.

Please write up a comprehensive review of the bike. I'm really curious to hear how it does.

What is the weight?

What is the weight?

I've got a couple 40'sn stock and they weigh in at 33.7lbs for the large and a bit less than 33.5 for the small one. No actual weights for the other models...
