Baltimore area Freeride / Downhill?

I am new to the Baltimore area, in fact to the USA. Just moved here from Dubai.

I used to do lots of downhill and freeride when I lived in the UK and was wondering if anyone can recommend any trails in the Baltimore area, the closer the better.

Ain't real close but going to the ski resort Snoeshoe should make you happy.
About 6 hour drive i think.

Thanks, anyone know of any riding groups/clubs in the area? Specifically for freeriding and downhill and generally riding hardcore stuff.

check out dcstreet.com. They organize rides all the time.
