Has anyone tried the dangerboy replacement brake levers?

Are they hard to install? Any advantage to them besides that they look cool?

I am thinking about getting them for my Hayes.

Depending on which hayes you have they are pretty easy to install. They feel way better than the stock ones, and they look super cool as well.

If you can get your stock levers off, the DBs are easy to install. Good luck (and be patient) if you have the Hayes pin that needs to be driven out.

Functionally, they are a HUGE improvement over stock Hayes levers.
