Hussefelt insert problem

I'm having a problem getting the pedal on the non-drive side of my crank off without the insert backing out with it. Is there a trick to getting the pedal off and keeping the insert in?:help:

nope, this was a problem with the older models. contact truvativ, theyll send you one with a modified insert.

If you haven't already sent it back...

Mine did this just the other day. I backed it out (the insert) as far as I could, then put red loctite on the threads, turned it back in nice and tight, and let it sit. Next day the pedals came out as normal.
