Just wondering if any of you guys ahd experimented with using intense 2ply tires with gheto tubless or stans.

Im running gheto on my trail bike using non ust high rollers with a bit of laytex liquid in them with dt 5.1 rims. It works great and im pretty happy with the setup.

Just built a new set of wheels for my dh bike with mavic 721 rims. I tried stans with these years ago and it was a pain in the ass. I was going to give gheto a shot with these and have some intense tires that im pretty happy with.

Basicly am i gonna waste my time getting these to work or should i just stick some tubes in.

Ghetto tubless all the way !

I've been wondering about those 2 ply Intense as well.

I know the 4 ply are almost impossible to pop into place but I am sure some liquid soap like shower gel will help...

I've never had any luck with getting intense tires to seal up tubeless but a buddy of mine has (1soulrider here). He puts a tube in the tire and inflates it and lets it sit for a day or two so that it begins to conform the shape you need it to be in. Give that a shot.

ill give it a shot and see how i get on.

the gheto setup has been working really well for me with the dt 5.1 rims i just remember that when i had stans rim strips with 521s that they sucked.
