Threaded to threadless?

Is it possible to convert a frame designed for a threaded headset to a threadless setup? How?

Change the fork, headset, and stem. They still make 1 inch steerers because it is slightly lighter than the standard of 1 1/8.

The frame doesn't care what kind of headset is installed. The fork, however, generally does.
