What is the lightest stem I can get with 0-7 degrees rise and 40-50MM reach.

Ritchey is damn light but not really DH worthy. Thomson is your best bet for non-integrated stuff.
I don't know what fork you're running but an e13 Ali stem is your best integrated choice.

Thomson is the lightest. The Elite dh50 is superstrong, stiff and only 160g. All the integrated stems are heavier.

I think it's time for you to start lifting weights.

Just buy a stem, shave your eyebrows, and be happy that you saved weight higher up and thus you have a lower COG for better turning.

Stop being such a weenie. It's more cost efficient.

You could use the lightest stem, clip your toenails, shave your eyebrows, AND shower. There's not just the three, you can have FOUR.

What about a shaved head?
Dude, your v10 is already sub 37 pounds. Get over it.

Just because you are afraid of soap does not mean other people are.

2 zip-ties, maybe 3.
For free ride id recomend laying your bars right on top of your stem and then running ONE zip tie down your steer tube. Yea but for real for all DH applications id run 2-3 ties.

I picked up a Hope 70mm 0 rise stem for my trailbike. Somehow I wouldn't trust it on a DH or FR bike (same goes for Thomson)... just not enough material, IMHO. Thin bolts, face plate, etc.
Anybody here break a stem (zip-tied or not)?

A Thomson 4x is wicked light and can absolutely handle the abuse of DH. You would have to get a machined stem stupid light for it to fail.
