Blue DH bikes are usually ugly. White DHRs look hot.

Search for some of the SEI team DHRs from past years. They're soooo sick. It'll give you some inspiration.

deemax wheelset

How are you going to make that work? 135mm deemax only come in qr and 10mm thru axle? DHR has a 12mm axle.

they come in 12mm now.

there are/were different frame reducers available for the DHR via hadley. When the latest versoin of the DHR was designed, there was not 'one' standard for axle diameter (there still in not really but..), so , as i understand, the frame was designed to use the reducers so that if down the road the 'standard' changed the frame would not be obsolete. My buddy bought an 05 frame from a honda/turner rider and it has 15 mm axle reducers....from Hadley. I have no idea the ability of these parts but they would be quite easy to fab reducers for any axle under 20mm for that frame.

not sure going to talk to turner and find out all i know is that i can't afford to sell the deemax right now and spend more cahs on another wheelset

dont go deemax. they are crap. especially compared to my current wheelset which is 721s laced up to a hadley in the back and a specialized stout hub in the front.

i only bought my deemax a few months ago and i am going to have to keep them, if not then i will most likely just buy a different rear hub

You should just build real wheels for your DHR.

Don't hate so much on Deemax's. Sorry it's late, but I don't feel like backing that up. Keep in mind that they're strong wheels, and when taken care of, will treat you right. Just don't ride your tires with too little tire pressure, and they won't fail catastrophically, as long as you don't do anything stupid like that 'Bender's Son' post. And it's funny that the guy above says that his wheels are better when the rims are weaker. Sure, more spokes are better, to a point, but don't be so sure that your skinny rims on a Stout F hub are better than a Deemax. I wish I had a Front Deemax, good way to save weight on a less-abused part (for the record, I had 721's, and exchanged them for 729's).
Now for some advice: You could always buy a used wheel, they go for silly cheap sometimes. Heck, I just sold a wheel for under $100 + shipping, and it was a good wheel! I just got a King on an EX729 for $230, and that's even better! Go used if you're not happy, but I think you'll be just fine.
You should custom paint your DHR by the way. I never liked their paint jobs. But then again, I haven't seen their 'royal blue' yet.

I would see if they can match the color of the Subaru WRC cars as that is the best blue ever.
