I was fianlly able to get out and do a road ride after almost 3 days of rain :( and I spent Yesterday Building a New rear wheel so I can have 2 again . I always Like to have 2 rear wheels, so If I go out for a ride and have a flat I just grab the spare wheel and go.

New wheel ( all New Parts )
Campangolo Avanti Rear Hub
Ritchey Spokes/Nipples , Made by DT Double butted 14-17-14
Matrix ISO C rim 32H ( had in the basement New for about 10 years now )
Conti Grand Prix 3000 700X23
Campanglo Record 13-26 Cassette

I just started going Southwest , and I decided to take a couple of roads I had not used before , they were pretty Nice. so I just kept going on it , I was out about 1 1/2 when I had just started Making a Northly Turn and Came upon this sign

I didn't relize I had gotten my self so far out there . I  Love It then relized I had to be at my Son's little game, so I had to Hual ass to his field , but I love getting my self lost !

The wheel performed flawlessly !

I agree, getting, "lost" is a great part of riding...mtn or road.

I only get "lost" on my roadie... I have to stay much more focused on my mtn bike so I don't kill myself. On the road, I can zone out and really dial in to the rhythm of the ride. That's the best.
