galby in t-minus 2 hours

me and a buddy are heading out to the galbraith lane side of the mountain and heading up to the tower in at 2:20. we'll be the silly looking ones both riding singlespeed steelheads if you happen to be there at the same time. Supposed to hit 80 today.. going to be fun.

Today the weather was perfect, hot but not too hot, and the trails were nice and dry. My ride went perfectly until I decided to stop and figure out why the front of my bike was creaking so bad. Discovered what I think is a hairline crack along the weld on the bottom side of the head tube. Needless to say it left me with a sick feeling in my stomach and I didn't get to rip down the mountain. Guess I'll see what the bike shop says when I take it in tomorrow.
