HEy,
to make a long story short im switching to haro for sponsorship reasons from my local shop. im gonna ride a magnum 357 w a ccdb and a forty or a boxxer wc, cant decide, and i need a 4x bike, i was planning on taking an exteme and converting it, but i like the vpp style vl120 or the werx 5 2006, i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them, they look huge on the site, but the small size looks awesome, looks like a enduro sx.feel quite like one too. but i dont want to have a crap 4x bike so suggestions and testimonies would be helpful. if not what haro bike would be good for 4x?

If you aren't getting the Haro's for free...which I doubt, you are nuts to sell all of your Specialized bikes.

But he's getting sponsored bro. He'll be able to walk around telling people he took Micks old spot on Haro. BTW theres no way he's getting anything that much better than EP.

who cares if the demo is redesigned. the demo 9 you have/had is sick. Who cares about an employee purchase on a haro? That's like saying you want a tricked out civic for a sick low price so your selling your ferrari.

well whose saying the haro is a bad race bike? Its won plenty of races, and i no its in the rider as well, and I need some money.

Thats an awsome analogy. :oink:

Pauly, keep your demo. Or sell it and get a demo 8 frame!

I understand the need to raise cash, but your bike switching is a definite downgrade. Then you are going to blow a bunch of dough getting a semi decent 4X bike built when you already have an SX right? Seems like you are just downgrading your whole fleet.

jd swanguen shreds his haro, cody warren shreds his haro, mik hannah shredded his.
I no its a downgrade and all but it will turn out good financially for me in a year or so.
moving on,
can all bike shops get IH bikes orderd?

Those riders can shred it on any bike. You cant.

Ride your demo. :)

Its the rider not the bike stubbs,

Mick hated his bike from the sound of it. Seeing as he was seen racing on an M3 and also a Cove (the haro sucks period). The bikes look like crap. Keep the Demo and learn to ride, switching bikes is a pain in the ass anyway.

:stupid: Rockymt21 is on the money. Don't downgrade so you'll be able to upgrade later. Just ride your bike and get a new Demo frame in 07 if you really want to and save yourself a pain in the ass.

And keep your SX. You'll regret parting with it.

What i dont get is all these peoples obsession with sponsorship? The way i look at it is, on your profile it says your 15, do you really compare to say kyle strait or Sam Hill at that age? Otherwise, you arent really gettin a sponsorship deal, they might give you stuff cheaper, but theyl still be making money out of you. Stop worring about which company you can tell you mates your "sponsered" by and go ride your frickin bike

Uh, you could easily earn the small amount of money you'll gain (seriously, with the retail market how it is, it won't be over $1000) through selling nice bikes and riding cr4appy bikes by working for a month at minimum wage. Everyone here is telling you it's not worth the hassle, why can't you listen? Just do some actual work, not only is it easier, but you'll make more money.

I think Mick averaged breaking something on his haros about every 2 runs....

Dude to say it again, don't be a whore. You haven't even had that demo for a season and you want to get rid of it? I happened to ride the lift with Mick at Snowshoe who was riding a COVE instead of that POS. He said the Magnum is absolute ****, its no wonder he blew so many race runs. What is your reasoning behind this at all? By the time you sell your demo and your SX and put all the things on the haro you said, you won't be making any money anyway.

But suit youself, your just jumping into a hole that is going to suck once you're in.

Stubbs nigga,

You need to keep the Demo. This is coming from the kid who whores out bikes and I have finally realized it doesn't make a difference. You have a high end bike and just need to get used to it. The Demo is very capable of everything you want to do. You will get better results this year on the Demo than any of the other bikes guranteed. And I wouldn't even take Yeti into consideration unless your loaded. 303's aren't affordable and you would look pretty ghey jumping a 303 on the wheelbase gap jumps on you sponsor profile. Keep what you've got, learn to ride it, listen to the people that know what they are talking about and you will benefit from it more than getting a new bike.

Good thinking on keeping the bikes.

For future reference...

Don't make racing any harder than it already is by downgrading your equipment.
