Sidewalls too weak, begging for rim dents. Get DH casing and call it a day.

yos1s25,
Not sure where you are from, but not a good idea on the east coast; lots of rocks = torn up tire...

My single ply tires lasted 1/2 run and I double flatted..... no thanks. I run the skinny dual ply. Nevegal and Minion 2.35s are the ticket.

youd be having first of all a hard time getting them to seat properly, plus they will roll in corners if you dont have a very wide rim, and for going at any speed where you actually have a use for 2,5 tires, the sidewall will be a liability. it can be done but its usefullnes is questionable.

I wouldn't do it. I run 2.5 minion dual ply with no-tubes, and the sidewalls still seep air. Never had any trouble other than that though.

you'll rip through the sidewalls too easily. I run ust tires ghetto tubless, no problems, and alot cheaper than buying the stans kit. I don't even have to run sealant or anything like that. I've had the best luck with 2.5" minnion dhf front and rear.
