I couldn't open your article, but they've had plans to put housing there since I was 12....I'm 28 now, and still no housing..... they did just develop an empty lot (empty since the loma preita earthquake destroyed all the buildings) about two blocks away from the post office, so judging by that... and the recent surge of wealthy people living in Aptos that want cute places to shop, It's probably true.
