as ussual I have a Little crazy idea...

I what to see what will happend if I mount a set of footpegs on my Motorcycle that can rotate a little (30 degrees) or sometimes from were i'm seating forward to standing so my motocross boots have a little less trouble acting on the rear brake and specially the shifter...
don't worry I will re-machine the pedals, mounts and axle so they don't spin around since that will be a suicide..

anyway for this to happend I will love to find a pair of skinny and somehow tinny (to current standards at least) 2 to 2 1/2" wide and about 2 1/2" to 3 1/2' inches far and as skinny as possible for ground clearance issues, great mud clearance (I don't want them to be pack with clay in no time) to make a Prototype and from there see if is a good idea to really developed...

I'm posting here since i'm looking more for suggestions of models and brands, than the actual pedals but if you have some for sale that fit my criteria let me know...

Thanks

Ricardo

Someone already has MX pivoting pegs. search google for pivot pegs. http://www.adventurersworkshop.com/pivot_pegz.htm

No clue if these things work or not.

I know of those they are make in Australia and sold in the Us by one of my competitors..

That would be a really cool idea! With boots it's a pain to shift and brake.

the Australias i try and for sure are a improvement, but they are to small (to really spread you load when standing for long periods) and the also stick much to far and low loosing ground clearance,,,

patineto los atomicos son de lo mas plano que he visto, ahora bien, son de dimensiones X e Y promedio, el eje Z es reducido hasta su minima expresion.

WTF?
"the pegs were wide enough to fully support my foot but not so wide as to inhibit flexion and extension of my forefoot."

whatever dude....

hmmm, good to hear you back with cool ideas. it was way too quiet around here, i wondered what happened to you. :p
anyways, something the size of the shimano dx would be a nice size. but sometimes they can feel a bit small. cullys give really nice support.
