Kona Stinky?

I'm about to take a look at a used '04 stinky for my brother this weekend. He is just getting into biking and this looked like a good match for him(mostly it's because he can afford it!)
Are there any specific areas on the bike I should be looking at very closely that are known for cracks, bends or other things? Are there any known issues with these bikes in general that I should be leary of?

not really just check the general places, i.e. welds, pivots, gussets, etc. just make sure everything is as it should be, take it for a ride around the block and such. stinkys are excellent for beginners just fresh into freeride.

check for play in the bushings too, they can get loose, make sure the rear shock isn't blown etc...
