Anyone locally have a 450# 8.75 x 2.75 spring that I could try out? I'm between a 400# and 450# spring and I have a hunch that the 400# I bought but haven't mounted yet may be too light.
So if someone's game I wouldn't mind trying out your spring, and if it works, either buying it from ya or trading for the 400# that I have. Steel please, because I neither want nor can afford a Ti spring.
I ride at the Shed mostly but will be around northern Virginia and Snowshoe this season.
Peace.

I'm pretty sure a Progressive spring won't work on a Manitou shock that's a 1/4 inch longer. I do know that Fox and Manitou shocks are compatible with each other however.
If I find out otherwise I'll take you up on that offer though. Thanks J.

Sweet, so long as it'll fit that would be great. Better still if it's black. Actually, if it's not black I might not want it....I'm all about color coordination!
I might also not need it if my 400# is heavy enough, but I don't know yet as I haven't gotten the bike from the shop. :(
Will let you know Monday for sure.
