Ive just got a specialized P.3 frame i was just wondering whats the best fork and crank to have really,Thinking maybe some single crown bomber 150mm?got a truvativ husellfelt dh but was ganna upgrade to a Race Face Evolve DH?

Also how do you think the frame will handle triple crowns?I heard some guy snapped his tube with some 170mm Junior t's.

Im ganna be doing 10ft drops and 20ft jumps this frame should handle this right?

Thanks

my friend took my marzocchi dirt jumper 2 special edition 150 mm (6 inch) off my 04 bighit comp, and he absolutley loved it on that bike. I rode it for a couple weeks, and i thought it was awesome too. Its a great set up for that bike. I would suggest maybe a z150, or maybe a manitou flick, or firefly 90-130. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST A 66. Someone came into our shop and had us put on a 66 on a P3 and i took it out to see what it was like and it SUCKED. the 66 is too big of a fork, and not intended for that bike.

Might go for the z150's but what do you think to the
Sherman Slider DC 20mm?

go with a single crown, it will ride better with a shorter fork. look into the marzocchi drop off single crowns.

If you plan on pedaling uphill at all, I would highly recommend a 130mm fork. I had a Z1 on mine and couldn't keep the front wheel on the ground up anything steep. Pops a wheelie super easy which is cool, but with 150mm it might be overkill. Just letting you know.
Have fun with the frame, it was one of my favorites!

or how about use the ecc technology or something similar with a lock down feature. best of both.

try the Manitou firefly..without the SPV..but just travel adjust. its 90mm(for street/dj) and 130 for free ride stuff.
