I had that while I wa sin London, it was pretty damn good. Everyone told me it was a girl beer though. :ouch: :(It is very good, most ignorant English hate it because it's French. The French brewery is actually owned by an English company now though. My favourite is their 'Single Malt' but it's impossible to get over here.

:thumb: my favorite kind of beer.

transcend, the beers (uniformly) are not dark, unless you happened to fall into a slew of porters. the pale ales and bitters are fairly blond in nature.

i had a couple pillsner urquells, and a clerico barbera w/ dinner (shared w/ the neighbors). a sambuca nightcap. and now is nighttime. good night.

Tonight I'm slumming it and drinking Corona. In NZ Corona is almost premium. A beer's 'percieved quality' and therefore price is often determined by how far away it is brewed from you. In NZ it is one of the most expensive beers. When i lived in AZ it was cheap as poop. I personally think Corona is quite a nice light beer no matter where I buy it. It's one of the great really hot day beers.

Nice. How you mixing your sangria?

I personally hate the stuff, but it's all the younger kids have been drinking it lately. It's got a gnarly hangover to it, but that could be because we buy the 99 cent Don Simon stuff (oh, it's definitely in a box) and sip it down quick with a straw.

$16AUS a six pack when I was in Australia. I made tacos one night and I celebrated my Mexican food with a Mexican beer. Most expensive six pack I've ever bought was Corona....how sad is that?

SS, do you ever not drink IPAs? Hop demon.

Tonight I sipped on a few beers from a Southern Tier Brewing Company Mixer 12 pack. Their American Ale was tasty, their IPA is not bad.

Off to see The Departed in an hour, gotta keep it chill for a while.

You all need to step up your tequilla game. For all the beer snobbing that goes on on this site to be drinking Cuervo for any reason other than getting blitzed is lame. Gotta step up to some Don Julio, or Pattron. Myself, I was drinking Bambino, wich is a bootleg tequilla I buy down in Mexico, it's cheap, and easily the best represado style tequilla I've ever had. Too bad it's not available in the States, you have to know a guy, who knows a guy to even find it in Mexico.

i'm sure it does, but it is also expensive. that said, i still would like to try some good tequila. cuervo isn't all too smooth when you drink it straight but it is still delicious. so if the more expensive stuff tastes better than cuervo i think it would be great!
