Anyone been to "Epicentre" in SD 4 a Show?

This band I like is in town next weekend, and they will be at the knitting factory in LA on Friday, and the "Epicentre" in SD on Saturday.
I'm just trying to figure out which show I should go to.

The Epicentre sounds like some cheesy little teeny-bopper place though. Anyone been there?
