Driving to Las Vegas from Santa Barbara area?

This is a dumb question but mapquest isn't helping. If I type in the directions it gives me the directions if I was to go through LA but I want to find the directions that take you from the 101 though pearblossom highway and then to vegas. I know it's like you take a right and a right but I have no idea where they are LOL.

Any help would be greatly appricated. I know you take the 101 to the 126, then I dunno what you do or where you turn. Please help!

101S, 126E to Valencia, I-5S to 14N, exit pearblossom hwy (138)
Take the 18 to Victoville and I15N all the way into Vegas.
