HLP- need kwik advise TLD D2 Carbon 05-vs-06

Never been a huge TLD fan but I I have a small window of opportunity to get either a 05 or 06 carbon D2 at about the same low low low price thru a friend's shop...is there really much difference between the years...I like the aesthetics of the particular 05 I could get better.

D2's have been excatly the same since the beginning. Except in 'o4 they changed the shape of the stock visor.

thank you that's what I hoped...didnt want to miss out on some new techno blah-blah on an 06 by getting an 05.

They are not EXACTLY the same, the '06's come with the little nose area roost deflector that is on the SE helmet.

I think the roost protector under the chin is more useful. Get the 05, you won't know the difference ot wear it and if you like the 05 design better why the hell not?

the roost deflector on mine keeps me from swallowing clods of mud unlike my Madmax did...

my 06 daredevil has more space for the goggle than my 05 flame. and titanium visor bolts, and a softer closur band, and much cooler designs....
