I bought a used Big Hit SPEC last january for a first FR bike. The front fork is a Drop-Off Triple from a stinky, which has always felt good. The rear is a different story.

The back has always felt very stiff, even the guys at my local bike shop commented on it. Is this the way all of the Big Hit SPEC's are? Would changing the rear shock help at all? TIA

Take it to the Buy and Sell forum, noob. Speaking of which, I need to get a list of all of the bike stuff you have hiding.

Oh, b2119, Price is a good guy. A little slow, but a good seller.

I got all the stuff to you on time. I'm still waiting on my little present you owe me, and I even washed the SRS in dishwasher soap and made it smell pretty.

what weight spring are you running? (the #s printed on the spring tell you stroke x weight) for a 190 lbs rider a 450 spring does good.

The spring is a 550lb spring, and I weigh 170.

However I don't think this is the reason for no movement. I spent awhile researching, and I think my shock is just blown.

are you still running the stock rear shock on it? if you are its doo-doo, just put a swinger 3-way on it and it will be just fine

Yeah, it is the stock shock. I agree it sucks! I just ordered a Fox Vanilla RC!
