So i got my hands on the new Turner highline. Set up with fox shocks front and rear and with a sram drinvetrain. With 8 inches of travel and short wheel base the bike handled good throught the corners and the off camber sections. The rear end floated over rocks like i was riding a fire road. the head angel on the bike we set up to climb and as well decsend. The bike did both. This bike will deffintley play against the uzzi vpx and the Santa cruz nomad or VP free. The bike over all feel was like a short travel 4x bike with 8 inches of travel. I had the shock in the rear set up at 4 click back from full pro-pedal and a 145 PSI with Bottom out control 2 turns in. The front low speed compression was 9 clicks back from the fastest setting, and the hight was at 7 clicks. the preload for me was was all the way out and the rebound was set about the middle. I really felt the livly feel of the bike. It was good in all sections. Stay tuned for the How it jumps.

So this thing jumps better than my last bike i had, the feel of the suspension feels endless. the bike did everything i wanted it to do in the air, to be able to throw it around like nothing and turn and pedal it like a dream come true. I say look out Santa cruz and Intense here come a cotender with some fire power. Here are some pics::::::

I think it's a Gravity Dropper.

Maybe you could riddle me this drizzle, the listed BB height on the highline really chased me away from it. At 15.2 inches that seems pretty high. I have owned a turner rfx but the BB was just ridiculously too high for my liking.
How does the highline feel as far as BB height? I am on an uzzi now and it feels really good in just about all situations (cornering slow and fast and jumping).
Have you ever ridden and uzzi and can you make some comparisons to the Highline?

That is a sick bike, good luck getting one built up for yourself!!!

Thanks
B

well th frame was a med. and bottom bracket is alot higher on the my dhs mono but it rides like the uzzi vpx did. The uzzi was cool bike but i felt that the suspension was too stiff for my liking being a lighter person. Turner gave this bike the high bottom bracket because of it use to climb with out hiting objects. The highline feel like i riding a short travel 4x bike but it never bottoms out.

Okay so yesterday i did all day down hill test on this thing. I actually got a lot of footage of rocksections fast turns and jumps. The bike kicks the hell out of my last bike. the fork was tuned just right and the bike was like butter for everything i put into its path.
It ended on a good note

Awesome build... almost the same looking bike as mine.... :)

My BB is dead on 15"... (almost the same as my DHR was.... ) That is with the fox in the stock crown position (dont know a-c offhand), e-13 reducer cups, and 2.5" kenda tires on azonic outlaws.

Any updates on how this bike has been treating you? It's on my list of frames I want to buy.

Thanks,

Thanks,

A newly designed one is out. It's got a lower BB, and much burlier rear end.

I've gotten a few rides on one and it's a really nice bike. Well balanced at a 7 and 7 setup.

I rode one this past weekend with a 66 on the front and I was VERY impressed with this bike. I had tons of fun. Cane Creek has a demo one with a Totem and a DB I can't wait to ride.

Im carrying my current bikes through next season. Depending on if I still feel the pull towards all/big-mountain freeriding, Im going to consolidate 2 big hit bikes into 1 highline!!

(so long as they do a 2009 run of XL's)
