I have a 2004 small sgs you should buy.
It would fit you better. :thumb:

That series of bikes run a little long. the small is really a 17" frame, a medium by most frame standards.
Consider a softer spring for more sag. what do you weigh, and what # spring is on there?

i weigh 145 and i have a 500 pound spring
iv been trying to fondle with the rear shock, but when i am on the bike and i want my feet on the level ground, im kinda on my tippy toes/ balls of the feet
would the 24 in the back screw up the geometry?

Get a softer spring.
drill out the upper shock mount, and add a 2004 e13 3-pc link kit.
you'll be a happy man :)

Sounds like you need a softer spring. You should Contact Iron Horse to get the right Spring Rate for your weight (it may be as low as 400#).

Going with a spring is like a $40 fix. How much will a wheel cost you?
^ Also the e13 2004 linkage will stiffen up the rear if you got some play in there.
