If it sound like the oil sloshing around in the fork its a good thing. The damper is saposed to make that noise. As for the travel I can't tell you for sure. But it MIGHT be the excess metal shavings in your interals from being manufactured thats floating around in your oil. It is a good idea to change the oil weather thats the problem or not.

You should re-route your front brake cable so it isn't going between the wheel and the crown.
As for the fork getting stuck down, does your 66 have a lockout? If so, it gets stuck down when the lockout is engaged.

Does your fork have a noticable skip at the top of the rebound stroke? If so, check in to a Marzocchi service centre.

when you push down on the fork, and then pull up the to get the front wheel off the ground. does the fork extend really quickly or really slow?

or just video tape the niose and movement and e-mail it to me.
;)

This is no big deal as long as your cable doesn't touch anything throughout the range of travel. On my bike that routing works the best.

Did you happen to get a real weight on the 66RC2X before you put it on?

no, i didnt weight the 66, but it was around the 3kg it's not heavy at all! yesterday i did a little downhill single, and i was amazed! the fork is very very stiff, saved me from couple of crashes, works very good on rock garden, and on berms and turns. the Maestro works wonderful too! it takes all the big and small bumps. i didnt felt a thing (after "braking" my hands and legs on a yakuza ht with a stance) and the combanation between those two is awsome! The Faith is a 05, and I upgraded the fork and brakes, to 66 and to Saint.

Oh, and I weight about the 73kg, and they have a litlle bobing from the Metal RP, if the b*%* will do trouble, it will be replaced by a DHX.
