I’m getting a new wheel set built up I have everything I need I was just wondering where I should get my wheel built in the Portland/Vancouver area. I was thinking of either going to universal or fat tire farm but I’m not sure since I’ve have neither build me a wheel before.

Thanks for the help

Universal is definately the place to go. I've had wheels built there and they held up very well. They also have much better service than fat tire farm in my experience.

good shop to get your wheels, Mike @ Univ. & the other guys are cool. got a set of mavics from there once & in over 8 yrs of ordering mtb stuff from them never had problems.

Universal is da schnizzle. I had them build me a wheel there season before last and it made it through two really hard seasons (230lbs) and 20 odd days at Whistler last year. Still rockin.

Just like LargeXtraPaneer said, "no problems with wheels or any other services" from Universal Cycle. I have had two wheelsets built to order and they are rollin' strong (knock on wood).:)
