I just ordered one from price point. Seems to be a super solid set up. I wanted something for super high strength that will handle a clyde hammering it pretty heavily. Anyone who has this have any thoughts?

I don't have any experience with that specific crankset but I've been very happy with my XTs with the outboard BB. They're light, super easy to install, and strong enough that I'm considering putting them on my DH/FR bike too.

If I recall correctly, the Shimano and Raceface outboard/X-type BB systems are compatible which is a big plus.

I'll have the evolve DH on the new ride when it gets in. Should be a few weeks.

Right on, I put the order in earlier today and they will be here Thursday so I'll let you know how I like them.

Hey Rich, Jackson just got his in yesterday and they are SWWEETTEE!
However, they are fah-king heavy Bro! They might be to heavy of XC purposes but they will be unbreakable.

They are only a 1/2lb heavier than the XC version... oh well. It will do until I drop more weight and want to start dropping more weight on my bike.
