Blue loctite, no grease.

BMX....run Blue LocTite
Mnt bike run lots of grease on teh threads and on the spindle if it's a splinded type of grease threads and dry flats on a taper bottom bracket spindle.

Blue LockTite on the crank bolt threads

If they're tapered cranks, run Locktite. If they're spined cranks then use grease.
