View Full Version : Hum? Who would have guessed dinosaurs ruled the earth only 6000 years ago..?
This came from a lecture brochure my exwife gave me along with an invitation to attend...

Now I'm going to have to work overtime to deprogram my daughter's baptist brainwashing... :mumble:
..and don't miss the Creation Museum!!! http://www.answersingenesis.org/museum/walkthrough/
Where you can learn that:
Adam and apes share the same birthday. The first man walked with dinosaurs and named them all!
God’s Word is true, or evolution is true. No millions of years. There’s no room for compromise.

I posted about this a week ago or so. It's sad that people (in the year 2006) still believe the Earth is only 6,000 to 10,000 years old.
I'm sorry about the brainwashing your daughter is being subjected to.

That you singled out the group with whom you disagree further illustrates my point. Thanks.

You know, Christians once believed the earth was flat and that the universe revolved around it. They executed people for saying otherwise. I wonder why they dont at least ATTEMPT to learn to at least objectively look at evidence before they deny it and end up looking stupid in the end.

There is an awful lot of inaccurate, misleading or incomplete information in those statements.

No chance on this subject, this is not a hill I'm going to die on by any means. Not to mention that most rabbi's don't interpret the Genesis account of creation as literal (like most fundies do), they take a more gramatical-historical method of interpretation.

I was going to PM this to N8 as a reference to use, but I decided to put it here as a public service announcement of sorts. This link:
http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/
is a comprehensive debunking of Creationist claims.
N8, this might come in handy in combating the misinformation that your daughter will probably be hearing.

When OMGF posted that, I about fell over. That is some serious sh!t right there. Next they will be wearing Nike's and waiting for the mother ship after they drink the "special" kool-aid.

No scientist was there to see the dinosaurs live through this supposed dinosaur age. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist observed dinosaurs die. Scientists only find the bones in the here and now, and because many of them are evolutionists, they try to fit the story of the dinosaurs into their view.
Carbon dating?

In the light rail tunnel there is a tube of dirt on display that was pulled when they drilled for the elevator the runs from the Oregon Zoo down to the train. The timeline along the dirt is cool and it's dated based on the stuff they found.
It's sad to know it's all made up now :(

Not made up but placed there by the Debil to test our faith.
I miss being able to use that station as a shuttle to the top of the hill, BTW... :(

Yep, evolution scientists made that all up because they were not around when that soil was made 6,000 years ago.
