profile question?

lastnite im putting my profile BB together and noticed that by the time i put enough spacers on the spindle so it would clear the chain stays, my crank arm is only about 1/2-3/4 on the spindle. is that common?

its a 73mm BB, with a ti spindle in case that matters any:rolleyes:

The bummer is that your ti spindle is not wide enough. What size is it?

Spindle is too short. They come in 5 3/4, 6 and 6 7/8 inch lengths.

In general, if your rear hub is 135mm you will need a 6 , if your hub is 150mm you will need a 6 7/8.

Riding with a spindle too short will screw your cranks in the long run.
