This can go chicken and egg real quick, no matter who you name. I think placing blame doesnt do ayone any good, really, since theres no recourse anyway.

Here's what you could do though.
Just blame the religious folks. All of them i mean. The Shiites for bombing the sunnis, the christians for electing bush, the protestants for settling in the US. The catholics for kicking the protestants out. Jesus for creating catholics. The romans for making jesus a martyr.
Its those goddam romans is who it is.

This is the US's exit strategy. I am sure of it now. Let the place decend into chaos, then bow out saying you don't want to interfere/too dangerous whatever.

Besides the US being at fault for being the catalyst, there's no real way to tell who will start it. I bet you $10 that we will side with the Shiites though.

I think if we choose sides, it will make matters worse long before they ever get better.
Despite who we here on the monkey thinks who started what, I am guessing a better part of the world will see it as our fault. Like it or not.

a.) Sunnis bomb Shiites in most cases.
b.) A lot of Christians didn't vote for our doofus President.
c.) Protestants, and it's a fairly dumb idea grouping all Protestants together. Protestant basically means that you aren't Catholic or Orthodox.
d.) The Roman Catholic Church never kicked the Protestants out. The Protestants left on their own accord.
c.) Hate to bring this up, but it was the Pharisees that wanted Jesus killed; the Romans wanted nothing to do with it, but it wasn't really until Constantine that the persecution ended.

Just to piss you off.
This is what happens when you remove an authoritarian suddenly and rapidly in what had been a relatively uneducated and poor country (thank you sanctions)...like Tito in the Yugo...They weren't killing each other because Saddam would kill them first...
